Sheldon Laboratory Systems proudly congratulates Dr. LaMoine Motz for his Robert H. Carleton Award at the 2016 NSTA (National Science Teachers Association) convention. This is the most prestigious award an NSTA member can receive. The Robert H. Carleton Award recognizes one individual who has made outstanding contributions to, and provided leadership in, science education at the national level and to NSTA in particular. It is NSTA’s highest honor!
LaMoine has been a friend and mentor to many of us (present and past) at Sheldon Labs for five decades. We share his passion and commitment to safety, flexibility and innovation in the classroom. LaMoine continues to help and mentor schools all over the country along with his colleagues and co-writers of the NSTA Guide to Planning Science Facilities and shows no sign of slowing down!
We proudly congratulate LaMoine for this tremendous recognition and more importantly thank him for his efforts to help schools develop safe, flexible, modern and fun labs!
