Fume Hoods

Efficient removal of fumes is an important requirement in most labs. Sheldon fume hoods are designed to remove fumes and manage airflow in a safe and efficient manner.

Sheldon’s Fume Hood Models:

• Air Foil – The Air Foil conventional bypass hood frames the sash opening in angled fascia to minimize air turbulence.
• Flat Front – Flat Front conventional bypass hood has double wall ends for ease of service outlet installation.
• Thin Wall – The Thin Wall conventional bypass hood offers superior economy while maximizing use of lab space.
• Double Sided Demonstration – Excellent teaching and demonstration unit that provides the entire class with an unobstructed view of the instructor and activity.
• Trifacial Specialized Work Center – Similar in design to our Trifacial Work Station, this unit achieves its efficiency as the result of the unique, all-purpose, center exhaust column. Heavier-than-air gases are handled at the work-top level, and lighter-than-air gases are exhausted through the upper plenum. Extra student protection is provided by drop-down safety panels which require no adjustments. (Recommended for Middle and High School use)
