TE II Lab Centers
Total Experience®
II Lab Centers integrate
the work counter, standing area and
traffic lanes, using every inch of available
floor space to maximum benefit. Sheldon’s unique TE II design eliminates
the need for students to work back-to-back,
creating a spacious, safe working
environment.
The TE II allows each student ample
front-counter space and elbowroom. Other workers and
activities are always
within the student’s angle of vision, making lab work not only
easier but safer.
Each student can work with either neighbor across from
his or her corner, and
because students are not working back-to-back and obstructing
aisles, traffic
lanes are clear in every direction.
Available in a variety of surface finishes, the TE II
is ideal for chemistry and
physics labs and is well suited for biology and general
science applications.
Features
The TE II is available in three surface
materials:
- The epoxy-resin surface is the most chemically resistant
surface available and is ideally suited for
chemistry applications.
- The electronically laminated, edgegrain-maple surface
provides an excellent work surface for physics
applications.
- The phenolic-resin surface is chemically resistant
and an excellent choice for chemistry, physics, biology
and
multi-science applications.
The understructure on all models is fashioned of sturdy,
molded fiberglass bolted to a 10-gauge steel support
pedestal. Two removable panels provide easy access
to plumbing.
Centers are equipped with two duplex electrical receptacles
and are designed to accommodate optional storage
cubicles.
The TE II is available in 17 models featuring varying
surface
materials and tabletop sizes. Some models are equipped
with
round or trough sinks and Sheldon’s vandal-resistant Unicast
fixtures.
Seven TE II models are ADA Accessible.
Options for the TE II include corrosion-resistant trough
covers,
storage cubicles and annex assemblies that connect
the TE II
to countertop work surfaces.
